چکیده

Background: Diffuse gliomas are a group of diseases that contain different degrees malignancy and complex heterogeneity. Previous studies proposed biomarkers for certain grades gliomas, but few them have conducted systematic analysis to search molecular markers. Methods: WGCNA was used find significant genes associated with malignant progression diffuse glioma in TCGA sequencing expression data the GEO profile-merge meta dataset. Lasso regression potential model building best selected by CPE, IDI, C_index. Risk score evaluate gene signature prognostic power. Multi-omics data, including CNV, methylation, clinical traits, mutation, were evaluation. Results: We found out 67 significantly WGCNA. Next, we established new 4 marker (KDELR2, EMP3, TIMP1, TAGLN2). Multivariate cox identified risk as an independent predictor prognosis patients its predictive power histopathological glioma. Further, had confirmed five test datasets remained good The combination specific characteristics possessed better Furthermore, divided low-risk into three subtypes: LowRisk_IDH1wt, LowRisk_IDH1mut/ATRXmut, LowRisk_IDH1mut/ATRXwt combining IDH1 mutation ATRX which obvious survival difference. In further analysis, multi-omics features. Conclusion: malignant-related 4-gene profile from multiple microarrays data. four markers on overall gliomas' genetic backgrounds, features, signal pathways.

Cost-Effectiveness Analysis of Prognostic Gene Expression Signature-Based Stratification of Early Breast Cancer Patients

BACKGROUND The individual risk of recurrence in hormone receptor-positive primary breast cancer patients determines whether adjuvant endocrine therapy should be combined with chemotherapy. Clinicopathological parameters and molecular tests such as EndoPredict(®) (EPclin) can support decision making in patients with estrogen receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-nega...

Gene expression signature-based prognostic risk score in gastric cancer.

PURPOSE Despite continual efforts to develop a prognostic model of gastric cancer by using clinical and pathologic parameters, a clinical test that can discriminate patients with good outcomes from those with poor outcomes after gastric cancer surgery has not been established. We aim to develop practical biomarker-based risk score that can predict relapse of gastric cancer after surgical treatm...

Gene expression signature-based prognostic risk score in patients with primary central nervous system lymphoma.

PURPOSE Better understanding of the underlying biology of primary central nervous system lymphomas (PCNSL) is critical for the development of early detection strategies, molecular markers, and new therapeutics. This study aimed to define genes associated with survival of patients with PCNSL. EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN Expression profiling was conducted on 32 PCNSLs. A gene classifier was developed u...

Systematic analysis of hematopoietic gene expression profiles for prognostic prediction in acute myeloid leukemia

Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a hematopoietic disorder initiated by the leukemogenic transformation of myeloid cells into leukemia stem cells (LSCs). Preexisting gene expression programs in LSCs can be used to assess their transcriptional similarity to hematopoietic cell types. While this relationship has previously been examined on a small scale, an analysis that systematically investigates ...

Expression of ROR1 Gene in Patients with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

Background: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) results from genetic alterations in a single lymphoid progenitor cell. Expression of ROR1 is reported to be increased in ALL and mantle cell lymphoma. In this study the expression of ROR1 was assessed in newly diagnosed patients with ALL.  Methods: This study was carried out on 40 patients with newly diagnosed ALL and healthy individuals as contro...
